Formula 1 management has presented the Grand Prix schedule for 2023. A record 24 races are planned to be held this season.
The new calendar was accepted in an online vote by the FIA World Motorsport Council. Compared to the current season, you can find quite a few changes in it. The new season of Formula 1in 2023 will start in Bahrain on March 5. In Abu Dhabi on November 26 the last race will be performed. Summer break as usual will take place in August after the Belgian Grand Prix. Fans of Formula 1 will have a great opportunity to watch the races on online betting Uganda.
Despite rumors of difficult negotiations with the Auto Club of Monaco, the race in the Principality was kept on the calendar, but the return of Formula 1 to the African continent, which was actively predicted by the local media, has not been approved yet.
One of the renewed things in 2023, is that the championship will return to China and Qatar, and will also debut in Las Vegas. To fit all these races, the less popular French stage at Le Castellet іs canceled.
It is also noteworthy that the F1 bosses left free dates on June 10-11, when the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be carried out.
Another interesting point is that in 2023, three Grand Prix will be held in the USA. May 7 in Miami, October 22 in Austin, and November 18 in Las Vegas. At the same time, the race in Las Vegas still requires confirmation regarding the track itself.
Italy will also host two races – on May 21, the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix (on the Imola track), and on September 3, the teams will compete on the Monza track.
Another new thing is that the Grand Prix of China and Qatar again will take place in the Formula 1 calendar in 2023. Unfortunately, the first stage of F1 will not be held in Germany. Portugal and Turkey as well will not have any races in 2023.
